Why do I need to provide LME with my Social Security Number or Taxpayer Identification Number?

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) requires LME to acquire a social security number or tax identification number from all Payees. Failure to supply your social security or tax identification number will result in LME withholding a 24% non-refundable tax on all payments.
